Mark Grimshaw first opened the doors of Grimshaw Autos on the 11th march 1994 – but he only managed to stay open for the first half of the day before he received the call that his son, Luke, was being born!

Since that day over 30 years ago, Grimshaw Autos have continued to provide expert automotive support to the local community and beyond. Our dedication to providing reliable, trustworthy advice and customer experience has allowed us to expand our services and operations. We ensure we are constantly evolving our knowledge of the latest automotive innovations to provide the best service for our customers.

Mark Grimshaw – Director – Mark is the founder of the business and has over 40 years of experience in the industry and has built key relationships with suppliers and the local community. Prior to his work in mechanics, Mark started his early career being a mechanic for 13 years in the fire service. In his spare time, he enjoys angling and holidays to Portugal.

Luke Grimshaw – Manager – Luke has over 10 years’ experience in the automotive industry alongside his father. He completed his Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair in 2014. Luke manages the day to day running of the garage including customer support. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his dog, Mabel, and supporting Local rugby team, Leigh Leopards.

Alexander James Davies – Senior Technician – Alex first joined the team in 2011 to gain some early work experience during the school holidays and he hasn’t looked back since. He is a keen motor enthusiast, and he is the engine in the Grimshaw Autos machine! He completed his Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair in 2013. In his spare time, Alex enjoys supporting Liverpool FC and Leigh Leopards. Following them to every game possible.
